Sarah gave her plain TARVA a restyle.
To add the skirting, she first glued wooden slats onto the feet of the TARVA to increase its thickness and create a flush profile.
For the skirting, she used baseboards, cut angular at 45° so that the corners meet. She cut three pieces of baseboard, glued and nailed them on the TARVA legs.
To finish, she plastered the heads of the nails and left them to dry. Lastly, she sanded down the points and the entire cabinet (the latter with a finer sandpaper) so that it remained nice and smooth to the touch.
She made new holes for new handles.
And lastly, a coat of paint in blue-gray.
