IKEA INGO dining table gets marbled By: ifyouwanttobe

We love the natural wood color of the INGO dinner table but it was getting yellowed and had some discoloration.

I thought that a marble coating would be great. While visiting the Koctas tiles, a lightbulb lit in my mind and I quickly calculated the amount of tiles I would need.

To affix the tiles, we needed silicon and grouting.

We squeezed the silicon onto the table and placed the tiles.

We prepared the grouting with water and added Polisan for it to be raw white coloring.

Then with the help of a ruler (or whatever you use at home), we filled the gaps between the tiles.

Lastly, we painted the legs with paint diluted with thinner. We applied two coats. (Picture below is after one coat)

And et voila!
