DUNSÖN cart with trellis
It has been love at first sight, when I discovered DUNSÖN in light green at IKEA a few months ago. There was just a tiny problem: I definitely didn’t need a dolly or a trellis
Very soon a new idea was found. Why shouldn’t it be a foldable drying rack for small pieces of clothing such as socks or underwear? Even the gorgeous color matched perfectly to our bathroom in crayon (white, light pink and light turquoise).
The few steps until DUNSÖN reached a full transformation have been quite easy. I went to a hardware store and bought some little useful things for the Hack (three metal clips for heating pipes + one narrow wooden strip + two small metal loops with screws).
Afterwards my boyfriend drilled eight holes into the bathroom wall (additionally six through the three short wooden strips) and then the total construction was fixed by screws.
The last step was to fasten the two metal loops in place. The light green coloured Hook of the dolly was conveniently reused as a wall bracket for times when I don’t have any wet clothes.
That’s it … hope you like my hack
