Materials: 2 KALLAX Shelving Units
These Mudroom or Laundry Room organization cubbies are made from two white KALLAX Shelving Units. It also has the 4 KALLAX doors on the top unit, and 4 SKUBB Baskets to the bottom. Before attaching the units, we covered the wall with bead board, and wrapped it on each side after units were set into place. Crown molding on the top, and toe molding on each side were added to get the full built-in effect.
The left side consists of 3 wooden boxes stacked on top of each other, drilled into the wall, and painted white. To ensure the hooks are able to hold the weight of my kids schoolbags, we cut a strip of baseboard and hung it upside down drilling into the studs. This guaranteed us the ability to screw into a solid piece of wood for all 4 hooks. The laundry basket is ALGOT frame with the additional casters.
