I am trying to build a Kivik combination (leather) that is not really supported by Ikea:
starting from the left:
- chaise
- corner unit (includes loveseat + corner)
- one seat section
It all seems possible except joining the one seat to the corner. The store sales person told me that the “one seat section” has a different with than the corner.
Looking at Ikea’s website things get even more confusing:
- leather “one seat” shwos a depth of 37 5/8″
- fabric “one seat” shows a depth of 38 5/8″
-> why would the leather and fabric not have the same dimensions?
In any case the leather corner section shows a depth of 36 1/4″ (in leather). The Fabric is again a bit wider.
Does anyone have more insight into this? Can I join a one seater to the corner?
