Droppar Uplight to Downlight transformation By: IH guest

Uplight

Materials: Droppar jar (001.125.40)

I went to IKEA to find something to use an RGB MR16 low voltage lamp as an uplight which could stand on the floor.

- Take a simple round ceiling lamp armature (most of them will do)
- Remove the white plastic and the plastic window from the metal cover of the Droppar jar (pliers will do)
- The round hole has a perfect size for most MR16 ceiling spots, put the spot in the hole, at the inside fix with a little glue when positioned at the center.
- Take a 5mm glass drill and drill a hole in the bottom for the cable (wear safety glasses when drilling)
