Paint always gets the credit for being the easiest way to dress up a room, but for me, hardware does a lot of heavy lifting, too. So we decided to devote last month’s hashtag challenge to celebrating beautiful hardware and all that it can do for a home’s interior and exterior. From stunning door knockers and door knobs to pulls, handles and latches, the right hardware is often the fastest way to spruce up any space. We asked DS readers to submit their favorite hardware photos (#dshardware) and hundreds of you sent in gorgeous photos from across the world. 30 of our favorites are in this post, and hundreds more are in the #dshashtag feed online.
