Full Height, Wall-to-Wall Sliding Bypass Doors Using HASVIK Panels By: Jules Yap

Materials: Two sets of Ikea HASVIK Sliding Doors, Two sets of Everbilt 60 in. Sliding Door Sets from Home Depot, Vinyl Tubing, 2x4, Two 3" long bolts and nylock nuts

Description: Needed sliding doors for full height, wall-to-wall closet with opening dimension of 116x95" on a budget. Home Depot and Lowes did not carry off-the-shelf door panels that would fit that opening without going custom order. Two sets of 59x92 7/8" HASVIK sliding doors was the most economical solution.

Also, two sets of Everbilt 60 inch sliding door sets were used. The door panels were slightly short so a 2x4 was used as a spacer to bring the track lower.

None of the hardware that came with the Ikea doors were used. It would have taken too long to modify. Home Depot had sliding door hardware priced right.

To prevent the sliding doors from going all the way to the left or right, two bolts with Nylock nuts and vinyl tubing were installed through the tracks as a stop.
