I always love going through hashtag challenge entries at the end of every month, but I didn’t expect to be so moved by the most recent theme: summer. After sorting through the 4,872 entries that were submitted last month, I was overwhelmed with that very specific sense of nostalgia and melancholy that comes with acknowledging the end of summer. With September only a few weeks away, looking through hundreds of pages of pictures of peaches, crashing waves, ice cream, toes in pools and backyard barbecues with friends was both the best and somewhat saddest way to mark the passage of time. While I will always enjoy feeling crisp breezes usher in fall, I will definitely miss the slow, sunny days of summer. Thank you to everyone who submitted such beautiful photos for this challenge, you captured the best moments of summer and we truly enjoyed getting to see what summer means to all of you. xo, grace
