A simple hack for my first post. I took a Skubb storage box, flipped it upside down, hung an LED bulb, and slid the whole thing into an Expedit bookshelf.
A few things to remember:
1. It has to be a Skubb storage box, not the nearly identical, more Expedit-friendly Drona. This is because Drona is simply too opaque. You might also try the Lekman, but I wanted something to diffuse the light.
2. Make sure the bulb is LED. The enclosed space can get quite hot otherwise, and you don’t want your little hack to catch fire.
I’d love to see everyone’s take on this. I’m sure there are a million ways to make a light box, this was just the easiest and cheapest way I could find.
