Using the two Billy bookshelves as ‘legs’ for the desk, I placed the Linnmon table top on top of the shelves. The angle of the bookshelves came after a bit of deliberation, but this angle provides more support for the table top and allows easy access to the shelves for storage. Care was taken to space the shelves in such a way that the Ekby Tore shelf mounts would still be able to mount onto the table top without hitting the bookshelves. Eight 90 degree brackets were used to attach the tabletop to the book shelves. Lastly, the Lack shelf was centered (easy to do with pre-drilled holes) and attached to the shelf mounts.
