The life of a stylist in New York City is one I consistently envy. Whether they’re sifting through beautiful props or gathering fresh flowers and branches for a shoot, there are so many moments that combine all of the things I love most about interiors and design. But the job involves a lot of hard work and scouting, too- something Anthony D’Argenzio of Zio & Sons knows a lot about. Anthony created Zio and Sons, a New York Creative & Styling brand, and has been wowing people with his work both online and through his incredible Instagram feed, where I discovered him.
I first admired Anthony’s talent through the stunning renovation of his East Village apartment (documented here in Lonny) and started to see his work popping up in the feeds of other photographers, florists and designers I admire around the country. Anthony’s expert mixing of old and new pieces is a skill I always admire and to see a snap shot of his day is such a pleasure. Thanks so much to Anthony for letting us peek inside the daily life of his creative and styling business. You can visit Zio & Sons here online and also check out his recent “InstaMeet” on Conde Nast Traveller Magazine right here. xo, grace
