Materials:
- METOD cabinet with a high drawer
- VARIERA waste sorting bin with lid
- piano hinge , screws, elastic cord (not very expensive)
How to: Kitchen trash bid with automatic lid opening (without touching the bin).
- Fix the lid on the bin with piano hinge and screws, it must open at 90 degrees.
- Drill a hole on the lid on the opposite side and put the elastic cord in it and make a knot.
- Fix a screw on the METOD interior front panel, adjust cord length and attach it to the screw.
- It is possible to fix a counterweigth on the lid to ensure perfect closing.
