Child’s play: A sensory table from LACK side table By: Jules IKEAHacker

sensory table

Turn the cheap IKEA side table into a sensory play table. My son loves playing with rice, sand, pasta but he’s never had an official area to play until now.

How it was made:

1. Sawed off the two back legs and cut one third of the table top off so it can attach to wall (you don’t have to do this part, but my playroom is getting a little overcrowded so I needed the floor space)

2. Sawed two rectangle squares in table.

3. Secured two plastic buckets in the holes with screws and my glue gun

4. Painted it (leftover wall paint lol) and sealed with Mod Podge.

See more of the Lack sensory table.
