Materials: Hemnes wall unit
We had a tricky space to fill in our daughter’s nursery: very narrow and rather short. All of the regular bookshelves and media units were too wide and wouldn’t allow for the closet door (not shown) to open. So we assembled the shorter Hemnes wall unit and beefed it up with two 3/4 plywood boards, screwed on legs, and a thick foam bench seat (covered with Ikea fabric). Added a few drawers, and presto, bench and toy storage unit.
